James Ellis ( Writer/ Storyteller/ Lyricist )
James Ellis, also known as Lee Denzil Jones, is a writer from South Wales. He grew up in a small valley mining community and has been telling stories since the age of six years old. He still writes mostly with pen and paper and storytelling has run through every aspect of his life. Born in 1971, his young mind was inspired by the best of what the fantasy genre had to offer and he quickly devoured books and films and television and comics.
He is the author of 14 books, 3 comic book series ( totalling 7 volumes/ 74 issues), 1 graphic novel and 1 theatre play, as well as 29 official lyric collections and 6 outtake lyric collections (totalling 447 'songs' ).
All under the different banners of young adult, adult and children’s books, but ultimately just there for whoever wants to read them.
In addition to writing books and wandering any coastal, river, canal, or mountain path he can find, he also spends a disturbing amount of time obsessing about whether he’ll have enough time to achieve everything he wants to when more often or not time is frustratingly short.
His greatest goal is to convince you, the reader, that the storyteller doesn’t exist and that the story was always there waiting to be found.
